Thomas oversees the development and launch of our alternative investment platform. This role involves managing key stakeholders including compliance, operations, product marketing, and business development amongst deal sponsors and distribution groups, clients, and partners.
Prior to Venovate, Thomas was the co-founder & CEO of CapRally, a CRM company for fundraising, and Xpert Financial, a private company fundraising and trading platform – both key components of Venovate’s offering.
He has a long list of success working at startups with firms such as Moblyng, iPlayMusic, and FlipTrack.com and investment banking while at Bay Capital Partners and Arbor Advisors. He has been recognized for outstanding entrepreneurship in BusinessWeek’s 30 Under 30 and Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. Thomas holds a B.A. in Economics and minor in Philosophy from UCLA, where he helped the Water Polo team to a National Championship.
Michael is responsible for the vision, direction, and overall success of Venovate. With over 20 years of experience in executive positions with four leading online brokerage firms, he is uniquely qualified to lead the next generation of financial industry innovation.
Michael holds four patents for online brokerage and email technology inventions. From his experience in the early days of online stock trading at Quick and Reilly, through his work creating Schwab.com, to building Zecco into a national brand, he has been at the cutting edge, using the latest technology to offer disruptive financial services. Michael has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Fairfield University.
